The little girl giggled a bit as her head was pat. She had missed him so much! Mommy always told her that he was busy, since he was a ‘kernel’-did that mean he turned into popcorn at work? “Sorry, Uncle Roy! But I missed you!”

She chuckled slightly, not expecting the other to be so sensitive. She drew her hand back to her side, and smirked at him. "Well, you're pretty close. I am supposed to keep an eye on you, since you're my baby brother and all. But I don't need Father to decide that for me."
