Domplines con Habichuelas (Beans and Dumplings)
Dumplings
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Salt Water
2 Tbsps Baking Soda
1 Tbsp Butter
2 Eggs
Beans
2 Cans Pinto Beans
1 Tbsp Oregano, Cumin, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Adobo, Pepper (or to taste)
1 packet of Sazon
2 Heaping Tbsps of Sofrito
2 Tbsps of Tomato Paste
Combine beans and all ingredients into small pot and boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes, or until beans are desired texture.
Mix ingredients together until dough forms. Roll out on floured surface and cut into desired shape.
Fry over medium-high heat.
Serve hot with cup of stewed beans.
