"Take your time, man." She laughed, "Gotta make the kiddos lunch and then I can head out, so it's all good." Her mom was dealing with a dispute with a couple of the boarders, so lunch duty was on her. "Text me when you are ready to head out?"
“Honestly, twenty minutes and I’ll be ready to head out,” he said and stood to start grabbing out clothes for his shower.
"It is summer time," Something that she was honestly very happy about, she was spending more time with Asher and planing things, but spending time with Kenny sounded awesome. Amber frowned when she heard about the letter, "I'm sorry Kenny. I'd love to hang out at the park, when do you want to meet?
“Honestly, any time would be great. I need a shower first, though. I kinda smell like ass a little bit,” he said and laughed. Jeez. Shitty letter, dumped, at least he was getting laid semi-regularly still, even if he was having to hunt down his partners rather than someone just being there. He heaved a sigh. Oh well. He could move on. At least that was what he hoped.

She grinned brightly, almost hopping up and down in happiness. "Thank you so much, Kenny! I will let you know as soon as I have some idea as to when things are going to happen."
“Dude, you rock. Hey, we should hang out some time. It’s summer. This is like best noise I’ve gotten all summer. Been kinda bummed cause I just got the little letters from two of my three colleges.” He gave a little sigh and flopped back on his bed. “Wanna hang out at the park?”
"Well, I might have a job for you, if you want it of course!" She took a deep breath, "My boyfriend proposed to me, and we're waiting for a little while, but we're still trying to plan things and I thought about you for a photographer."
His eyes went wide and he laughed, sitting up in bed. “Dude! Are you serious? That’s so freaking awesome, man. Whenever it is, I’m your man, I promise.”
The brunette was practically buzzing with excitement, though her friend couldn't see that through the phone. "Sorry. I have some really really awesome news and I want to ask you something really really important."
He blinked a little, glanced at the clock, and groaned softly. Why had he been so damn tired lately? Oh right, because he hadn’t gotten into any of the schools he really wanted... “What’s up?”
