@pulchratormentum liked that one post I made yesterday for some sort of interaction.
Nick heard the ting of the bell of the shop, and looked up from the piece he was working on. He made a specific effort not to do the double take he’d wanted to do. She had sharp, beautiful features and if he were a different person he might have been tempted to stare. He didn’t stare, on a far different level, he understood that some people were used to getting looks. And she was the type that had to be used to it. He wouldn’t add to that problem. So he smiled at her and nodded once in acknowledgement before setting his pen down and standing up to greet her.
“Hey! I’m Nick. I haven’t seen you around here before.” He was sure he’d remember a face like hers. He leaned over the front counter, “Looking for a tattoo, or a piercing? Or maybe a person in specific. I can really only guarantee the first two reliably, though. The other three people here are either on a day off, or they won’t be here for another few hours.”
