starting new job tomorrow morning

i didn't get the really good one after all that but that's okay; they said they'd keep me on file::

got fat major dumped

built a book shelf

blew a cool 250 today on retail therapy; i needed work pants & it snowballed::

most of it was on clearance so it's fine

currently sitting in the post-rain waiting for a bus; cold as hell::

update chat: scored potential interview for job two friday. however friday was potential start date for job one. they never gave me a time & i missed their call yesterday saying there were "changes"

is accepting the interview for friday a decent call considering it's wednesday & i haven't heard back from yesterday today? are the chances of them saying to come in the next day considering they interviewed me by phone on the spot good? probably. interviews at 1:30 i can always ask to start at 3 🤔

asking for career advice from the dash? it's more likely than you think!

schedule it & ask for a later start if they stick to friday

so glad i have two maybe jobs lined up so i can cool it on applying; applying was fun actually it's being contacted i hate. tell me your timelines guys what do you mean you'll get b ack to me m a y b e ?? & i need to be available all the time forever just in case ? who do i look like to y ou ??::

on the one hand sh i t job not in the industry; unregular hours & minimum wage but it's hybrid; closer & seems to train well. already interviewed; nebulous start date but a start date ; on the other job in the industry i haven't interviewed for yet; slightly higher pay. not hybrid & doesn't seem to train well. but steadier hours; choice is obvious one is just easier. also how do people interview with a job that seems impossible. or maybe what's impossible is interviewing during onboarding which is a whole other thing. but i don't HAVE both i only have the one so do i burn the first on a maybe?? 😭 fu ck::
