Drown.

Shimmering depths, plated in gold,

Laced with dark forests and mysteries untold.

Glowing speckles of stardust within,

Under beaming sun, gold crusted vision.

Trimmed in lush green, rims rich and wild,

Brimming with secrets and joy of a child.

Running in circles, then leaping of faith,

Off emerald mount into honey lake.

Whirlpool of dreams, a dizzying glow,

Gold waves crash above, I sink far below.

Glittering pools, I dive in and drown,

A warm, welcome death, these eyes they call "brown."
