"I hate you! God, I just hate you!"
She knows that. She knows that Heather has to hate her to have done what she did. You don’t say things like that about your friends— you don’t even say things like that about people you’re indifferent to— and it hurts. Because before, Heather counted her as one of her true friends. She thought that the sentiment would be returned.
The sad truth is, though, now she hates Heather back. She doesn’t think she could ever forgive her for what she did.
