Another type of doll that I thought I would never get into, as the bobble head fashion doll aesthetic didn’t really appeal to me at first. On a whim, I thought of looking up Pullips, since I saw my friend Jackie’s Pullip Akemi Homura and thought it was pretty cute. The aesthetic of many of their releases in the last few years just... speaks to me. Probably because some of them are also collaboration projects with lolita/J-fashion brands?
I found this girl in an online Pullip community, and nearly passed out when I found out she was for sale with her complete stock outfit. I'd mostly given up on her already, but my [super-supportive] boyfriend stepped in and helped me get her. I was over the moon when he told me. ❤
Lala is the 2011 Romantic Alice pink version, which is a Pullip x KERA x Dangerous Nude collaboration project. I adore all the iterations of Alice that Pullip has released, but pink is my favorite color, so this version holds a special place in my heart. I’ll reveal more about her personality as we go along. :)
‘Til next post,
Vanessa
