Is it sad that I can see something like this happening?
"Cal..." Asher whispered, pulling her into a hug. She let her arms fall over his shoulders unwillingly and sneered at him when he pulled away. "What do you want?"
"I... I wannae be ther' fer ya, luv. Fer th' kid, too." He lowered down to one knee and kissed her stomach which had barely grown yet, nuzzling into her.
"Asher what the fuck are you doing?"
"I'm nah a bad guy, luv. I wannae be a pop ta this kid. Now, is idda lad or a lassie?" He smiled up at her.
She rolled her eyes and looked down at him, unconvinced. "It's a girl..." She finally admitted.
"A li'al dadday's lass, then?" He stood and wrapped his arms around Cal's shoulders, kissing her passionately on the lips. "I know i' wus a mistake, buh it's ouah mistake, Cal, luv."
Cal's doubtful gaze softened as he pulled away from the kiss. He was still holding her face and she brought her hands up to wrap around his wrists. "Asher... are you being serious?"
He licked his lips before the pulled into a large grin and he stepped away from her. "Nah! No way, Lassie!"
She snarled as he laughed, completely ashamed that she'd fallen for the Bastard's trick.
" 'ave fun wit da mutt, though, darlin'!" He gave Cal a light slap on the stomach before trotting off to do whatever blonde Irish demons do, leaving Cal alone with the unborn demon-wolf bastard child.
