Maurice Lannes
Better well-known under the name Morris Lane for his hard-boiled and sleazy novels, Maurice Lannes started writing pulp fiction at the end of WW2. In the 50′s he was one of the collaborators of publisher Roger Dermée and as Edmond Nouveau left his book-keeper job at Dermée’s Editions to found his own publishing house, Maurice Lannes followed him.
Here, one of his first attempts “ Eight girls disappeared” - 20 pages pulp in the collection “Aurore”.
