Jarvis annoying everybody in the dressing room before a concert for 40 seconds straight
Shoutout to that one time Jarvis threw his cardboard cutout out the window on TFI Friday. Edit: apparently it's not a cardboard cutout but a WOODEN one. No wonder it seems so heavy...
A small addition to my previous post about the chokehold Jarvis had on male journalists of the time, where a French fan blows some awkward flirtatious bubbles in Jarvis' direction.
I studied French in uni for three (technically one and a half..) years and I barely know it, but here's a rough translation of what I understood here:
-Il y a donc les adeptes. Ils vous a les petits ballons. C'est pourquoi, les petits ballons? (So here are the fans. They have small balloons for you. What are the balloons for?)
-Pour Jarvis! :D (For Jarvis!)
-(I think he says smth like "tell him that when he arrives")
-Jarvis, haw a yu??? Haaaiii ^-^ That's for you!!
-Oh yes, thank you very much 😌

Can't listen to Help the Aged without hearing Ali G going "help the muthafuckin' aged B)" in my head
That shit actually ruled so hard. I absolutely love the part where Jarvis goes "yeah, you know me~" as well. Release the version without the laugh track, please...
One thing I really have an affity for in Jarvis' personality is his unapologetic nerdiness over popular music. He was always a big music-head and loved sharing his knowledge with others, sometimes just to flex and look cool as seen in this Pop Quiz triumph of his.
I've been listening to a lot of his Sunday Service programme (or what remains of it in the archives at least) recently and noticed, firstly, how similar our tastes are (ending the first episode with The Doors' Indian Summer was just too much for my already smitten heart...); and secondly, just how naturally curious Jarvis is about music and finding new artists. Love the "are they any good?" segment especially, because it shows how open-minded he is even about stuff he doesn't really "get".
I rarely think of favorite artists in "role model" terms, but Jarvis really feels like the type of person I'd like to be someday.
OOOOH, I've seen this guy's Beatles outfits video, but he made a Jarvis one recently!!
All the outfits are so good, would steal the wardrobe (and the shopping cart) 100%
What is it with all these 90's talk shows and how fuckin' bizarre they were 😭😭😭 Love Nick's and Jarvis' dynamic in this btw, they're so cute. Too many moments that require the full context for me to highlight
