Re-cap of my first big cultural event, the Deans List Tour. Hosted by Amplified Communication.
So, I wrote this while I was in Costa Rica (in the cover art, I'm actually in Panamá). Studying abroad in Costa Rica was one of the best experiences of my life. I changed and grew, I began to blossom. I was able to discover who I am and love that woman and the Earth I live with.
In my original recording, you could hear birds chirping and Common, John Legend and Bilal's "Faithful" instrumental in the background. This time, I decided to give my plain, storytellin' voice to show AO simply spoken.
Why I Want To #InternAtTranslation.
Discovering Translation must be what falling head-over-heels in love at first sight is about. After years of wandering, looking for my ideal company, I know I’ve finally found “the one.” I’ve been wondering for almost two years, “Why haven’t I found the bona-fide company that ignites my passion and personifies a culture that fits my lifestyle?” Then, I stumbled upon Translation and I stopped wandering - I’ve found home.
I’m ready to work with people who will challenge my creativity, people who are actively innovating our culture. I want to learn from one of the top business moguls in the country, Steve Stoute. I’m ready to challenge myself with an internship where the employees are creative entrepreneurs, like myself. Translation is a company that puts passion into every project, contemporary swag into every cultural project or campaign. I want to work with Translation because that brings me one step closer to Jay-Z, and closer to the Queen BEY!
Please take time to get to know more about me. I'm passion filled and overflowing with creativity. I also know a few people who can vouch for my interest and determination to #InternAtTranslation. Recent Translation hire, Josh, has given me insight about his internship experience at Translation, my homeboy Cory Townes is a current employee and Nick Pacelli referred me to be on his team for Cultural Initiatives :)
I love NYC, it’s my second home. I’m a hard-working go-getter who is down to learn to do anything, fearless of mistakes. I like Target and the BK Nets. I’m already on a blazing path to becoming an entrepreneur and that’s why I want to #InternAtTranslation.
