"the original series had the least consistant writing" agreed... And the best part of the original was the last season (and it WAS REALLY GOOD) but other than that, DM was ok. Sure it was a starting point, but the fact people compare DM to the others isn't super plausible since they are soooooo different in themes and writing.

it’s not even fair to compare DM to the other series, and I don’t think it’s fair to act like it’s infallible, either.  DM was….well, without nostalgia goggles, it’s passable at best.  That doesn’t stop the fact that I love it, but it was the series with the least financial resources, the least consistent animation, incredibly inconsistent writing, a multitude of plot holes due to the fact that they were still figuring out their brand, and a horribly imbalanced, impossible to understand set of rules for the card game that it revolves around.

DM is great, and I appreciate it for being the starting point that gave us the other things we got out of the franchise.  I still think it’s absolutely amazing despite all those problems.  But to put it on a pedestal and say that it’s objectively better than the spinoffs is just frankly…wrong.

that’s not to say that the spinoffs are objectively better than DM, either, but I just think considering the fact that every single series changes hands so many times and has so many different elements, it’s unfair to all of them to try and compare or rank them, except by personal affection.

This is my part of an art trade with @pumpkaboots and I really don’t know a thing about Yugioh but this character? Cool.  Beans.  Glad I was asked to draw them, tbh ;o;

per your reblog: Vapes generally (unless you are getting the flavored kind) have less additives and nicotine than cigarettes do! (My older sibling vapes bc they quit cigarettes, my fam is trying to get them to get rid of those too)

yeah i thought so. i remember them being recommended for people who want to quit smoking being a pretty big thing. i didn't know that flavoured ones have more nicotine in them than just regular vapes though that's insane especially considering that's what'll be popular with younger folk
