October 1 - Shipyard's Smashed Pumpkin

    Starting off the First Annual Pumpkin Daze with Shipyard Brewing Co.’s SMASHED PUMPKIN. 

J: Using my ice-cold and actually-acquired-at-the-the-brewery-in-New Orleans NOLA Brewing Co. pint glass to kick things off right. First things I note are a not-unwelcome spiciness and a very thin aftertaste. Heavy nutmeg upon subsequent sips. This is 9% ABV? One down, 30 more to go.  Let’s do this!
