Before the spooky season is over, I desperately need to make a post that the heart turns into a pumpkin so like, fun facts about me:

I have never gone trick or treating (barring Tumblr kind and doing it with my dolls when I was like 6) as my parents never let me

Despite technically being raised in a Christian family (I mean, I was baptised and my grandma gave me a bible to read before bed a couple years ago although the only time I've used it in the past year was to read it over my friend cos they were lying down in the same pose Jesus was crucified in) the last time I went to a church was for a Halloween party!

Every Halloween my school screens 2-3 horror short films from senior school media students and they're epic. It's mostly just them goofing around with each other and the special effects tied together with loosely hanging plot threads. Last year one was basically just them making fun of our school's uniform policy the whole time (cos a teacher got possessed by a cursed student planner and began murdering all students not perfectly in uniform) and this year there was one with a stereotypical jock lifting dumb bells the whole time but then ran out after he threw them at possessed people trying to kill him so spent the rest of the time doing bicep curls with increasingly random and funny cylindrical things. I know those aren't particularly good details but like the whole point is that they aren't good but they're fun so 100% love the tradition
