Pumpkin is a 10 year old who died on Halloween, it has a sister called Candy cane who is basically the same effect but Christmas. Not their actual names but thats what they called eachother and that's what I'm gonna call them.

Some kind of magic happened where they were so autistic about the holidays they liked that they because they died during the season they became some kind of magic spirit that appears during the holiday appropriate months

Pumpkin does not know Candy is dead because they died after it and when I bring Candy out for Christmas they will learn this and be devastated, I plan to keep doing this every year I remember

This is the basic idea, a lot of stuff is subject to change I mostly made this account to bully Tim but then I felt bad so I moved the angst to Pumpkin instead and I'm just here to be a Halloween episode instigator and it's incredibly fun

If people like my characters enough they can magic them back through the power of having a good time

I think it's about time I explained a little bit about how my original verse works

It's very metanarrative focused. Certain characters can read the narrative directly. Characters' power canonically scales depending on how narratively interesting the thing they're trying to do is, at least from my perspective. A group of beings called the Masters are in charge of maintaining various aspects of the world and its story— for instance, the paint witch Drop is responsible for bringing brand-new content into the world, and my sona character, Butternut (also my icon btw), is the literal narrator who writes most of the Narrative in-universe. That's not to say she's directly responsible for everything that ever happens in the verse— the characters still very much have their own agency, she just translates what they do and say into the Narrative.

Lumina passed away when Pumpkin was still very young.Pumpkin remembers that her mom would stay in bed when they played together.

Aloe

Aloe knows the ins and outs of natural toxins better than anyone in the clan, even Keltrick (the potionmaker) and Matcha (the chef?), who have done their own studies; it’s important to know what to avoid, after all. Aloe could use her knowledge of plants to heal, but she is far more interested in poison.

Being ex-royalty, Aloe’s knowledge largely comes from being surrounded by assassination attempts of all kinds. and ones that are rarely successful. She left her clan after one was successful, taking her knowledge with her.

Aloe still carries herself as royalty, but has developed a somewhat unforgiving nature. Her scientific curiosity is very much still present, though, as is a morbid sense of humor.

How did Pumpkins step mom and dad meet?

Well, everyone had already heard of the skeleton lady who would get into the roof of some buildings to paint!One time Jack and Pumpkin happened to run across her, and Jack asked her about her paintings.  Zapf was very excited to find someone to talk about it and showed them her latest work.Pumpkin didn’t quite understand the point at first.

Does Grocery Bunny visit the tea shop that Pumpkin's parents run?

She thinks it’s a lovely place, but she lives and works on the other side of the city, so she has gone there only a few times on her free time.

Pumpkin has only worked on her parent’s tea shop, but she had to give up because she wasn’t fit for the job.Most customers didn’t even see her.
