2-7 for the fic asks!!

2. Is there any specific ritual you go through while/before/after your writing?

as far as rituals go I don’t really have any?? I think the closest I have to a ritual is that I put my ipod on my “pump up” playlist (which doubles as a workout playlist for one of my ocs BUT) and I turn it on shuffle and I don’t turn it off until I’m finished. mostly I just sit down and go for it.

3. What is your absolute favorite kind of fic to write?

hoo boy, lemme tell ya, I am an absolutely sucker for cheesy romance. I haven’t written a lot of it, but it is definitely absolutely my favorite. I love happy endings, I love comedy, I love cheesy stupid love stories, it gets me every time those are so fun to write

4. Are there any other fic writers you admire? If so, who and why?

smh orion you’re just finishing for compliments are you? so I really admiring your writing bc I am in love with the way you describe things. like everything you focus on carries so much weight and it’s so beautiful and I am notoriously awful at descriptions in stories so!!!! I just love it I really admire that.

and!!! shout out to kendall @stebers​ who has such an incredible way with words like??? 10/10 any time I read one of her stories there are certain quotes that just stick with me. like I’ll read them and I’ll be like “listen if this was a real novel someone would have this tattooed on their body already. I would have this tattooed on my body already.”

5. How many words can you write if you sit down and concentrate intensely for an hour?

coincidentally, I learned this the other day when I was speed writing a draft of my short story for english workshops!! the answer is around 1600. I could probably hit 2000 if I was 100% focused on that instead of also watching a hockey game at the same time.

6. First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot)

I think technically it was a self insert 1d fanfic???? but we’re not gonna talk about that!!!! so officially, on the record, I’m gonna say the first pairing I wrote for and published online was destiel (don’t look at me).

7. Inspiration, time, or motivation. Choose two.

time and inspiration. I can motivate myself to do anything if I try hard enough, so….I would definitely rather have time and an idea first. I’d deal with kicking my own ass into gear when it got to that.

I just... I love them all so much. I can’t get over how much they all love and support each other. I just love how much focus there is on the team as a family, it just gets me right in the cockles of my heart.  <3

I’d love to keep talking about sga but I have an ASL midterm tomorrow morning, it’s 1am and i need to sleep. Please come talk to me about sga more whenever you feel like it, I’m so cool to find someone who loves it!!!!

YES OH MY GOODNESS!!!! one of my friends introduced to to it this year and I’m in love! I totally missed it while it was on air because my family didn’t have cable and I like totally missed the fandom but I just love it so much??? like I love every single one of the characters? so much?  First off I just LOVE planet hopping sci fi, that whole genre is my jam and sga does it so well and the team is such a family and I just?? I get so emotional about them. They just love and support each other so much. Tayla and Ronon’s relationship means so much to me. The whole found family team mean so much to me. 

I’ve been putting off finishing season 5 cause I don’t want it to be over
