What r ur thoughts on the shows portrayal of euron this season? More so that they have essentially merged him and Victorian into one character.

They may have wanted to merge Euron and Victarion into one character but that’s not what we got. Sure, he was the first to jump onto a boat during a fight. That does not make you a great warrior with a code of honor, albeit a twisted and harsh one. Even with the most superficial interpretation of the brutish Victarion, that’s pretty bad. The same goes for how they’re adapting Euron.book!Euron, a one-eyed otherworldly reaver with a deadly renown and a silver tongue (which he very well may have ripped out of someone else). He may be hated but people take him seriously. Mostly out of fear. I mean there’s a reason people wanted Mads Mikkelsen to play him.show!Euron is a crude, poorly dressed, pirate-wannabe. He’s almost impossible to watch without cringing. This guy just shows up places, makes speeches that read like they were copied from the bathroom stall of a college bar, gives folks the crazy eyes, and we’re meant to tremble.Nah.Guy comes off as Bam Margera doing a shitty Hook cosplay.

Been watching Iron Fist all day, and I must say, despite what critics say, it's actually quite an enjoyable series (Full disclosure I didn't think I could see Finn Jones play a straight man After GOT, but his Danny is such a breath of fresh air). Am I saying it is their best, absolutely not, but is definitely worth watching (in my humble opinion).

Who from dorne will be joining the aevalon entourage to essos? It would be wonderful to see arianne and oberyn and their respective children interacting with Jon and his family.

Only Sarella. Dorne is an independent kingdom and a power in its own right, so there’s no expectation they would follow the white dragons into the empire.

The Martells will beat them the rest there as it turns out. By the time Jon and Sansa arrive at Summerhall, the Princess of Dorne and her family will have settled in enough to be on hand to greet their allies from Aevalon. 

So that be Princess Arianne, Viserys (royal consort), Nymora (daughter), and Arion (son).

Sadly, no Oberyn.

So what are your thoughts on Luke Cage? I find it a step above Jessica Jones, but just an inch below DD season 1. I personally am not a HUGE fan of, whats the word, Blaxploitation shows myself, but for some reason this show hits all the right notes that makes me into a helpless fan. Plus I love the conflict between Luke and Diamondback. It reminds me sometimes of what Jon and Robb could have easily ended up as, if he hadn't accepted Jon as his brother.

Buckle up, buck-o.Jessica Jones remains my gold standard for the Netflix Marvel shows. It had a much stronger opening and consistently had me at the edge of my seat in a way Daredevil season 1 didn’t. That’s saying something since I really enjoyed DD’s first season.I also really liked Luke Cage yet I felt the conflict between Cage and Diamondback was one of its weakest elements. The first half of Cage was the strongest because of the conflicts there. They had depths, they steeped in a community, with all politics and cultural issues that come with. Cottonmouth was an engaging and deeply human antagonist and the same goes for Mariah, who I fully expected to take over his mantle as main opponent to Cage.

Instead, they went with a cookie-cutter villain in the form of Diamondback. His backstory with Luke was terribly underdone, as in it felt like a fill-in-the-blank motivation to hate Luke and I couldn’t care less. Most of the time he was on screen plotting and raging, I wanted Mariah and Shades to come back. 

A second half focusing on a biased/prejudiced police force, manipulated by a political player like Mariah and aided by a criminal element in Shades to battle with Luke for influence in Harlem would’ve been great.

Much better than the Luke vs Diamondback punchface storyline.

As you've mentioned attack on titan before, do you have any other anime anime that you watch or enjoy? EX: Berserk, Gundam, Bleach, Hellsing Ultimate, etc?

I’ve never read much manga but I was a big fan of the Gundam Wing anime and have seen the first of the Beserk series. Does the Avatar series count? If it does then that for sure. 

I’m not good with the genre labels.

Or arts and crafts.

I totally agree. But what I'm impresses more with is your reply wasn't just saying that the show was fine as is or that d&d just suck, u gave an honest and well thought out reasoning. I personally hope someone one day gets a shot at doing it right.

So do I honestly! I really do think that show could be epic and beautiful. Its an incredible story. I think it would probably be a good idea someone to wait until GRRM finishes the series though. I know it will be basically impossible for a show to contain everything logistically. But I think it would be a lot easier for show runners to make smart, educated choices about what to include, and not choose what scenes are important based solely on whether there are boobs and/or dragons in them. Not that there is anything wrong with boobs or dragons! They just probably shouldn’t be a director’s main priority when choosing content for their show ya know? Maybe concentrate on stuff like character and plot development.
