Another story, is Mr. Smith, our band teacher, gives us lectures and stuff in our study hall block. We walk in, the bell rings, attendance, announcements, so on, until he says he's going to perform for us. We all get hyped up, and he sits down with his trumpet. He sits there for exactly 4 minutes and 33 seconds. My friend Dawson laughed at the silence, and Cole almost coughed up a lung in the middle of it. He explains to us it was 4 Minutes and 33 Seconds by John Cage. The music aspect was the people coming in the doors, Dawson's laughing, Cole's lungs, Smith's sighing, our breathing, everything. It was really cool, actually.

Okay today at school, my math teacher was teaching and stuff and then the teacher from across the hall comes in. He looks at my math teacher, like right in the eye, and says "it's go time." Mr. Briscoe drops his smartboard pen and rushes to the other room. The teacher from across the hall is yelling at us, "GET TO WORK! YEAH, YOU!" and you could hear faintly, Mr. Briscoe singing at the top of his lungs across the room, with background music. He comes back in after a minute, and looks at us all. And students who asked if he was singing got told "singing? why would I sing?"

And that was my day at school today
