Foxthistle, what if the reason you can't communicate with the recently deceased is that, for some reason, they never made it to StarClan after they died?
Foxthistle, have any of the other medicine cats reported not being able to contact their recently dead in StarClan? Surely ShadowClan isn't the only clan that's had deaths since Ashkit's and Smokeheart's. If they haven't been able to see or contact their dead either, then you might want to consider being a little more forceful about demanding answers about what's going on in StarClan. Maybe all the medicine cats could band together to demand them too.

Ravenwhisker: Is Beechfall gonna be okay? It must have hurt to hear about Merlinflight's death. I hope he doesn't think ill of Shadowclan for it.
