"Yeah, why?"

"Well it's just..."  "I have some experience with, well, experiences dragging up some old thoughts and feelings.  And I know it isn't always the most pleasant… experience."

Steve laughed at his struggle. And motioned for him to sit down. He does 

The man heaves out a sigh. He has a small smile on his face. But his eyes are lost in thought.

"She told you huh?"

"Yeah."  "I could lie to you and say I tried to stop her but in truth I very much wanted to hear more about you."  "I'm sorry for that."

"It's okay."  "It's not something we can change so I try not to think too hard about it."

Herobrine nodded, sharing the sentiment.  He didn't remember his birth parents at all.  

"... She didn't tell you everything, by the way."

"Oh?"  How would Steve know? Did he listen to their conversation?

"Because she doesn't know everything."

"She... doesn't." He remembered back to when Steve broke down outside of the bar. She didn't know everything.

Steve nodded. "You may as well learn."  

"You don't have to."

"I'm finally ready to talk."
