          what was she doing here ??  this could easily come across as insensitive, but she’d heard the news that will was missing. it couldn’t be a coincidence that her own daughter vanishes on the same night. taking a breath, fist then pounds upon the door of the byers home, nerves and adrenaline causing the older woman to bounce on her feet.

they  saved  the  world  ,   or  at  least  el  did  ,   and  in  the  wild  process  he’d  forgotten  all  about  the  demo-dog  that  he’d  made  steve  stuff  into  the  byers  familys  fridge  .  and  perhaps  it’d  be  fine  that  he  forgot  about  it  ,  except  he  just  so  happens  to  be  right  there  the  first  time  joyce  opens  the  fridge  after  returning  home  .  eyes  widen  as  he  realizes  that  they  didn’t  warn  her  ,  guilt  evident  in  his  eyes  though  he  still  tries  to  play  it  off  .   ❛   —  that  was  technically  steve  ...  ❜
