                                        THIS IS CASSIAN ANDOR’S ELEMENT.  he’s spent so much time lingering on the underbelly of society that sometimes he forgets what it feels like to be on the other side.  this particular mission, he’s plunged his identity so deeply into his purpose that he finds he must sometimes  REMIND HIMSELF  of his intended endgame.

          the town center bustles around him, forgetting the captain  ( but he isn’t the captain, not in this moment )  in the hurriedness of it all.  it works to his advantage, as it always does ;  he moves  FLUIDLY  through the crowd like a specter, solid and yet somehow still invisible.  with one last glance over his shoulder, cassian slips through the door of a  FAMILIAR  establishment off the street.

          it’s cramped inside, smoky and loud and full of people he’d like to pretend aren’t  JUST LIKE HIM  , but cassian has accepted his fate as a bottom feeder long ago.  he’ll be anything for the sake of the rebellion, without regret or apology.  there’s not much room at the bar, but he manages to squeeze his way in, casting the man to his left half a glance as he orders his drink.

          he always knows his  TARGET  .
