❛          ——for me ?          ❜          although the press of his palm to his chest and the widening of his eyes would signal disbelief,  he offers little time for a response          (     all too fearful of a late april fool’s,  or an unprecedented change of heart     )          and simply tugs the plate closer with one hand,  cutlery with the other.          the grin that slowly spreads is unabashed,  gaze gleaming and hungry,  palate watering.          ❛          waffles with blueberries and syrup are my favourite.          ❜          or are they riley’s ?          he can never be sure anymore,  traits of his cluster leaking through when he least expects it.

giddy as a child on christmas eve     —     it’s the little things,  isn’t it ?          like when his favourite contestant wins on   La Voz… México,   or when he nails the line for his scene in one take,  or     …     in this case,  when he gets his favourite blueberry and syrup waffles     —     it’s the first mouthful he cuts that he makes the loudest appreciative hum for,  mouth still half full and chewing when he speaks.

         she knows that mccoy isn’t        USUALLY       her go-to support system,       though she feels as though a          ‘southern doctor’s prescription ’          is in order.        a buzz,        finger abusing the chime upon his door as booted toes tap beneath.        already checked sickbay      ──      knows he’s in there.         no time wasted as he’s revealed,          impatience worn upon her sleeve.           “ i hear you’re quite the alcohol connoisseur. ”

@neckerchiefsandmagic / @classifieddroid  ---  i met unaiza thru the bbc m.erlin rpc and honestly like??? salt mates at first sight tbh. but also we click so well as people and as writers i think and i love her take on both m.erlin and on beeb!!! she’s got a great way of taking the good and important parts of canon and just ignoring the rest or filling things in with her own original characterization and i think in the case of both m.erlin and beeb (esp m.erlin) that’s added so many layers that weren’t necessarily shown or deeply explored in canon, which i LOVE. anyway i’m so glad she joined me in the war in the stars hell and i’m just [hearteyes] about her portrayal and her opinions always??? 

@twentyoneeightyseven  ---  realtalk i think the sw fandom has a problem with finn characterization sometimes, so it’s so refreshing and lovely to see someone who has such a strong grasp on the nuances and complexities of his character? bex’s finn is so well-balanced; funny and sweet and brave but also self-doubting and angry, and i think that can be a difficult balance to grasp sometimes. also a+ ooc posting, i extremely appreciate the image of finn in poe’s jumpsuit

@seeheroic / @spacehated  ---  orla and i haven’t written together a whole lot but i love mccoy and i love finn so like???? a win/win situation for me here, folks!! excellent writing and character voice capturing, a real love for both characters, and just overall a beautiful presence on my dash!!
