A little idea I had! Behold, the toy themed kamen rider: Kamen Rider Toybox!
So I was watching a playthrough of Poppy Playtime when I was struck with the idea. Tokusatsu is already one of the most toyetic forms of media out there, so why not lean into it? Have a full kamen rider season based entirely around different kinds of toys!
And thus kamen rider Toybox was born! And obviously, her base form just had to be a teddy bear!
I took inspiration from my favorite season, Gavv, to come up with the transformation gimmick: the Toy Blox
This one is Teddy Jack! All of them would be based on an in universe toy brand, all made by the same company. (Wonder what that's about. ;3c) Teddy Jack here is a mischievous little buggar. Always getting into trouble that one.
The toy blox are effectively the "Jack" in a Jack in the box, which is what the ToyBox driver is based on!
It's basic, I know. First time making a driver. XP
The driver and the ToyBlox all work on a special substance called Stardust. A strange mineral of extraterrestrial origin, and forwhatever reason, it keeps finding its way into ordinary toys, transforming them into vicious monsters!
Enter Kamen Rider Toybox! Ready to beat the stuffing out of these naught toys!
And just for fun, I also made a legend rider recolor in honor of the rider who provided a great reference for her suit design!
