Rest In Power Jimmy Webb, you were the Mayor Of St Marks as long as I can remember. You were never not groovy, you had the best style and coolest laugh ever and that voice was like nobody else’s, you sounded like a shard of glass was lodged in your throat when you spoke, it was just fantastic. I remember you from my wayward teenage days of skating up and down St Marks with my teenage hooligan friends causing trouble, you were always cool to us. Super Bummed I moved to LA, and never got a chance to visit @ixneedxmore I will never forget you helped style me as Axel Rose for Halloween about 10 years ago a costume I have re-run several times! Loved seeing you out at shows, at 12 Step meetings and just catching up whenever I popped in the store to shoot the shit. You will always be the Mayor Of St Marks. A true NYC character if ever there was one.
