someone on Twitter asked me about my new puppet character Biddles and I decided to drop a bit of disturbing lore somewhere in the middle of our conversation… let me know if you guys would like to see him I’ll show him off

figuring out how the fuck howdy would have worked as a puppet

Yeah. So hear me out

I think he had like 4 puppeteers. One for his legs, one for the lower arms, one for the right arm and mouth *they are also his voice actor* and one for the left hand.

And because howdy is such a large puppet, the puppeteers for his arms and head probably had to be on stools and other things.

... ok I may have had a little too much fun trying to figure out how he would have worked.

I'm just tryna be logical. He's such a complex and big puppet he likely had to have more puppeteers. Along with MANY supports inside. He was probably a heavy puppet as well. I think he's a mix between a walk around and a live hand if you couldn't tell :')

The major thing I really wanted to figure out were how his legs worked. I finally settled in basically he's sorta like a suit. His upper half is detachable from his legs to make it easier to get in and out, but in return he probably has a million supports and it takes a while to get out of. The puppeteer inside probably needs to be tall *ish* mostly so their legs can fit his main pair of legs, and the puppeteers arms would control the second pair of legs by probably using stilts.

Because he's portrayed to be able to multitask and do things with his ALL his arms, every arm needs a puppeteer. The lower arms are controlled by a puppeteer who stands behind Howdy, probably helping support the puppet as well like so

Basically hugging the puppet from behind LMAO.

Anyway, the next puppeteer is the puppeteer of the left arm. They probably are the most simple lmaO. They just control the arm and make sure it's in sync with everyone else lol.

And finally we have the right arm and mouth puppeteer. if y'all know anything about puppets you know what they do lol. They are also *usually* the voice actor for the puppet :D
