“I can’t believe I fell asleep,” Carly muttered, ignoring the fact that she damn near woke up in a panic and cold sweat. It was bad enough to be caught so vulnerable, it was even worse to be caught like that by a hero. Though this one seemed to be different, less sanctimonious and for some reason didn’t seem all that eager to turn her in, or force her to ‘turn over a new leaf’. She rubbed her eyes, getting to her feet and gave her a flirty smile, “What you doing all the way out here Heroine? Don’t tell me you missed lil ol’ me?”
