Cyan had been trying to get his mind off the whole thing, honestly. He’d pet and played with Joy, played some video games, even read a fashion magazine he’d meant to get to.
None of those had really lasted that long, and his poor Happiny wanted nothing but to nuzzle against him to try and make him feel happy again. He wished that he wasn’t as effected by what Sean had said, but he was, and he couldn’t get it out of his head.
He took a little while longer than he meant to, meandering to his door. He was in a depressed funk, and, honestly, almost pretended that he wasn’t there. But what if it was something important?
He opened the door and stopped about halfway when he noticed Sean on the other side.
“Uh.” He looked down, missing the way Sean’s cheeks were puffy and his eyes red. ”If this is about lunch...I get it. I’ll just wait and go when you’re done.”
