Is there anyway you could explain more in depth on some of the raid skills/mechanics? They all seem to have some type of difference between one another. Also, the magic circle mechanic is a bit confusing, would that be alright to explain a bit, too?
Defense: Responsible for soaking up damage and keeping aggro. Should be in the front as much as possible.
Attack: Responsible for building up the attack chain. Also a secondary line of defense.
Magic: Responsible for dealing large amounts of damage to the boss. Should stay at the back.
Among skills of the same name/type, the variations would be the amount of damage dealt and cooldown time across levels. Those with “high” in their name usually give larger boosts or deal more damage, but have large cooldowns.
The magic circle is for boosting magic damage (only for magic users), the term being “arte resonance”. You need at least two magic types to fill up the circle, because it only fills up when you use magic alternately. The circle is reset after it is filled up six times.
Arte resonance only happens if there are other elements in the circle and you use a similar element as the one existing in the circle (i.e. you only get a damage boost if a wind element is already in the circle and your skill’s element is wind). Damage is further increased the more element icons are in the circle (up to a maximum of 200% damage boost [if I recall correctly] when the whole circle is filled with the same element and you use a corresponding element skill).
Hopefully this isn’t so confusing without screenshots!
