so since school is starting back up for a lot of people, it made me remember how there are a lot of students (high school usually, but college ones as well) who don’t know, struggle, or just need helping remembering how to cite something when writing a paper.
now i’m not sure what type of formatting or style countries outside the us use, but for people inside the us, this website PURDUE OWL will help you with learning how to write papers in MLA, APA, and Chicago and shows how to cite (both in text and a work cited page) in those styles for any source you may have.
so if you ever struggle with your papers i highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend using purdue owl because it can help you.
also quick sidenote: a thesis statement is ONE sentence that summarizes what your paper is going to be about and is at the end of the first paragraph in your paper. it is NOT the whole first introduction paragraph. also, do not have “this paper will be about...” because no, that’s not how it goes or have “in conclusion...” because that is wrong also.
