I agree, kiss of death. However, I found myself in a similar situation recently, when after a date, he just wouldn’t get in touch at all. I took the hint and moved on. Werks later, it turns out he really was just busy and said that there’d never been any doubt about his feelings for me, but that he never knew how I felt about HIM. Different situation, of course, but who knows.. Mh :/

Thanks Purebeing!!!  I hope what you are saying runs true in my case but my gut is telling me, he used me as a distraction during his exam studies... Maybe there was a point he was interested but that notion has gone out the window....  BUT we'll see!  Time will tell....
