The fae's man's expression was mildly annoyed at best, devoid of any fear or otherwise unease. Though there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes as they blinked up at her, his head canting slightly to the right. To him, the peculiarity was not really a matter of her size, but her reaction.
Calling herself a monster in the presence of a monster. It had not occurred to him until now that she was bewitched by his human guise. Only because he'd not pinned her to be entirely human for... obvious reasons.
He was always pleased when his glamour worked. Bringing in prey like flies to honey. This, however, seemed a bit overkill.
He lifted a brow, crossing his arms and allowing his lips to curl into a wry smile.
❝ Not at all. You don't fit the description of a monster to me. Other than being a bit tall. ❞
He pressed a hand to his temple and sighed softly. She seemed nice enough. He could humor her. Besides, he had the rest of the evening to hunt.
