Immortal, but past a few decades their memories always get hazy. Full of strong desires and feelings, curiosity, and restlessness.

About The Mun: You can call me Jaye (he/him, she/her). I'm 22. I have uni work to attend to, so I'm not always active, but I will try to get back to you in a timely manner. This is a sideblog, I follow back from @corvus-rose.

Eden is an ugly crier. True.

Eden is not allowed to drink energy drinks. False, they're allowed to do whatever they want. But they don't drink energy drinks anyway. They were promised "extra energy" and yet they are still perpetually sleepy. False advertising that must not be supported with one's hard-earned coin.

Eden knocks people over by hugging them. They are known to have done this but they do not have a habit of it.

Eden reads wattpad. Quite likely true once they get internet access, and they read a bunch of reader insert smut. They only like 10% of it, as in, they will like 1/10th of any given fic for pervert reasons and then think the rest is stupid.

Eden doesn't own a single pair of matching socks. False, they take matching socks very seriously.

Eden wears Hello Kitty socks. False, that's too cutesy for their tastes.

Eden is a sleepwalker. True in the dnd verse :)

Eden can't sit in a chair properly. Eden would say this is false and they have great posture, sitting cross-legged in a chair habitually is totally normal. Your mileage may vary.

Eden is smart but also very stupid. True!

Iago approaches with a kitten in their arms, a new one to add to the feline army they've already amassed. This one, a little grey tabby with half a tail, sleeping soundly against their chest.

"I haven't decided what to call this one yet," they tell Eden. "This time, I will graciously take suggestions." Or else they will most likely call her Cat, like the six other cats they've alrwady named Cat.

"Let me guess, your only idea is to name it 'cat' again?" Eden asks, with a half-lidded expression. They made a show of holding back a yawn.

They have no idea how many cats named Cat Iago had, but it was far too many. One of the responsibilities of ownership was proper naming -- how are you to call a specific cat if a dozen or so other shared the name?

Leaning down a bit, they examine the new kitten. Perhaps it was birthed by one of the strays, maybe even one of Iago's, though not too recently. It either lived enough of a street-cat life to lose half its tail, or it was one of those cats that was born with it.

"You should name it..." Eden paused, letting the anticipation simmer. "...Tailbone."

With that, their frown turned up into a self-satisfied smile.

"Some may say that i am 'sniffling', or 'sleeping even more than usual', or 'clearly looking unwell'. Of course, the notion of a noble Guardian of The Verdant Haven being laid low by a common cold is preposterous, so please do not entertain such rumours."

Eden scoffed. "If I dressed in the, let us say, traditional manner, I fear it would give the average man from the Victorian era a heart attack."

They pause to side eye Dio, scanning him from top to bottom, then frown.

"Of course, your grasp of colour theory could fry a man's brain, so I don't have an excuse."

Eden pauses where they are, and suddenly turns their whole body to look up at the mountain, the ruby sun scattering its brilliant light over its edge. The blood-red light streaks over the horizon, wrapping over and under the mountain's shadow.

It reminded them of claws, clinging to the jagged rock.

Just like that, they feel a sadness piercing out from deep within. Their mouth felt dry and their throat felt hollow from screaming, though they didn't make any noise. A flashback from losing something inconceivably precious.

They stand there in the grassy clearing, staring up at the mountain, as the ruby slowly sinks behind it.
