It wasn’t common that this place received visitors. Fonimin wasn’t exactly in high demand these days. Which suited him just fine. He didn’t need an audience to make sure the equipment that had been left there experienced a malfunction.
Upon looking over his hard work, a small smirk of satisfaction raised his lips. He almost didn’t hear the girl walking up behind him. And... when he did, all he could do was turn and stare at her. Her red hair...? Was she related to Asch?
There were a few seconds of silence before Sync spoke. His voice was...almost startling in how young it sounded in comparison to the sort of presence he gave off.

pats ur back it’s ok my friend, we all know he deserved better!!!! i share ur feels, i really do. i feel like when i first played it i was just so happy to see tidus and wakka in the game, but when kh2 came out and did what it did to auron and YRP i was like???? HOW DO I EXPLAIN THIS???? and now i’m stuck trying to make a kh verse for yuna that makes sense while trying to avoid being so confused?? or frustrated with actual in game canon?? however, i do think i’m on to something good :’) but this doesn’t change my frustration!!!! LOL
SORA HAD BEEN quite severely unused, he thought, though he had no opinion on the matter to really fuss over------ but it did make existing...... difficult. with no orders to follow and no free thought of his own, the android was quite literally lost.

she really believed in him? after all he had done? kidnapping her, causing her to go through all of that. you were a nobody desperate for your heart. his thoughts rang as he continued to look down at his hands. but he wasn’t a nobody, he was SOMEBODY and he was LEA again. a soft laugh escaped his lips as he looked up at her with a smile.
“well damn, you got me emotional. it feels REALLY good to feel this again. thank you, kairi.”
How his heart POUND in his chest , it resounded loudly in his ears , deafening even the waves that crashed beside them . He’d taken her back home , back to the islands to relax a while before they went on their next mission . She had been getting stronger , and could clearly take care of herself . It was extremely encouraging , and he was so immensely proud of his friend . However , now , instead of pride , fear of judgement and reprimand filled his being . He’d . . . KISSED her . Kissed KAIRI . As soft as her lips were , so much softer than he could’ve imagined , as warm as they were , like a fire stoked in a hearth at home , now fear overrode both sensations .
However , Kairi saw -- she always did -- and the soft chuckle that came from those lips he’d just kissed melted all anxieties away . How could she do that , he wondered a moment to himself , in awe of the color on her cheeks as she so shyly looked away and clutched her blouse . Shyness . . . he hadn’t really ever seen this look on her before . He had to admit , when it was directed at him , it was so much cuter than anything he could’ve imagined . He couldn’t help the soft smile that alighted on his lips , the same lips that had just touched Kairi’s own . That thought absolutely would not leave him .
Feeling the soft weight of her slender hand rest upon his chest once again made him aware of how hard his heart was pounding , how loud the sound was in his ears once more . Her words made the already rampant blush burn BRIGHTER , his teal eyes widening as she spoke. Long enough ? Again ? He bit his lip a moment before letting out a soft sigh of a chuckle , almost of relief , but mostly of HAPPINESS .
❝ Anything for you , ❞ Riku whispered , replacing his hand upon her reddened cheek and softly dragging his thumb across the apple there . How could he be so lucky ? He , who’d been damned over and over again , here now with his childhood friend , being asked for a SECOND kiss . He hoped his luck would never run out , and if it did , he hoped a second time that this moment would last forever .
A soft smile rested upon slightly chapped lips as he leaned down once more and pressed them gently against Kairi’s . Hers , so soft and plump , warm and delicate -- as much as they can be with training being at the forefront of everyone’s mind at least . He could spend ETERNITY kissing Kairi’s mouth if he was allowed . But he’d settle for now , for this moment , for this small , minuscule amount of time together . He would always keep this moment tucked away in his mind . His best friend . A girl of incredible might , who even though he’d been tainted with DARKNESS , saw the LIGHT inside him and gave him hope. A girl whom he’d loved since he was six years old . How lucky was he that she could LOVE him BACK .

❝ Kairi , watch out ! ! ! ❞ Terra called , rushing quickly in front of the princess to block a hit from a Neoshadow . It would’ve been easy to bring his Keyblade up and block it from making contact , but he didn’t. He left the blade at his side . It’s claws raked down his right arm and he winced , but didn’t cry out . It felt hot there now . Good . Sometimes he needed the reminder that he really was alive , that all of this , his return , was REAL. This was the easiest way to test the theory.
He could feel the blood drip from the cuts , and he took a deep breath before he narrowed his eyes and swung his blade through the Heartless , watching it disappear and its heart float up . He panted heavily through his mouth before he looked back at Kairi , glad to see she was in good shape . Terra stood up straight and looked around , pleased when all the opponents they’d faced were gone . ❝ Are you okay , ❞ he asked , finding it strange to fight beside her when they had just fought against each other only months before .
