SLEEPIN GIANT - PURPLE EP

 We showcased the talent of Amsterdam based producer Sleepin Giant with his treatment remix of a D’Angelo classic  but now we focus our attention on his EP titled Purple.

Well, how to describe efficaciously Purple EP?  It’s like an injection of a kind of drug that connect you with a sort of dreamlike world totally pervaded by a thoughtful combo of relaxing-vibe, mellow n’ soulful sounds.

Sleepin Giant recruited some really smooth voices like New York based songstress/poet Aja Monet ,  talented soulful R&B singer/songwriter from Bristol Romaine Smith and dutch singer Ruben Hein .

A real eargasmic music for your palate!!

Down IV, Pt.1 – The Purple – EP

Had a hard day at work? Argument with the missus? Dog ran away? Well take a seat, relax, grab a glass of whiskey and listen to Down. The twenty one year old New Orleans southern metal super group are so heavy that you can't help but bang your head to them, yet so groovy you can't help but want to smoke unidentifiable substances at the same time.

Led by legendary Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo, his demonic croons refuse to bore you. Whilst the downtrodden and the down right evil guitar duelling from Kirk Windstein and Pepper Keenan trigger with riffs you'd have thought only satan himself could master. 'Witchtripper' especially has a certain essence of Sabbath inspired unholiness to it. Having not released any new material in almost four years, this half hour of power EP is a sigh of relief and a shot to the arm. Down have just proved that there is still gas in the tank and the best is still to come.
