안녕하세요 Tumblr!
Hello everyone! We're a sideblog for @kingelend2022 for the BTS factives! We go by Bangtan collectively, but the host made a false name of The Purple System, so we'll use that too! Our names, pronouns, and tags are:
Kim Namjoon(RM), he/him, #namjoon posts Kim Seokjin(Jin), she/he/they (no pref), #jin posts Min Yoongi(SUGA), he/him, #suga posts
Jung Hoseok(j-hope), he/him, #j-hope posts Park Jimin(Jimin), he/they, #jimin posts Kim Taehyung(V), he/him, #v posts Jeon Jeongguk(Jung Kook/JK), he/him, #jk posts
New rule, active from now on, Jeongguk is no longer allowed to edit anything, he somehow managed to delete thirty(30) minutes worth of progress in two(2) clicks
Deleting all our old Introduction posts, gonna do a single overview one then if everyone else feels like it we'll do individual posts!
Oops we forgot this existed, no time like the present to pick it back up though! :)
How it works
Exchanging letters is more complicated than it sounds. We need to know exactly what type of information exchange you want to be a part of--and, more importantly, which ones you don’t.
There are different systems in place for varying comfort levels. The following are the letter exchange services we offer in order from safest to riskiest (Red - Purple):
The Red System: You send it to us to get mailed, and we send it out to your pen pal. No personal info included in your letter-the best for people wishing to remain anonymous.
The Purple System: Both parties are anonymous at first, but if there is a mutual desire to know each other’s identities, we will connect you (switching you both to the Blue, Yellow/Orange, or Green Systems, depending on you and your pen pal’s preference.)
The Yellow System: You send your info to us, we mail it to the recipient with one of our official email addresses, but you can include and share as much personal info as you feel comfortable with. (*Explicitly for minors)
The Orange System: You give us personal information (including things like selfies, social media, etc.), and we send it all to your pen pal through one of our emails. (Like the Yellow System, only for 18+ applicants.)
And, the two non-letter systems:
The Green System: We match you up (via tumblr), you take it from there! Share as much as you feel comfortable sharing.
The Blue System: You submit one-way notices that we will a) send to them privately, or b) post on the blog (per your request)--feel free to give a shout out to a friend!
As you browse the multiple systems we offer, keep in mind which ones are the most ideal for you. Note that the Green, Yellow, and Orange Systems are not as safe as all the rest, and there is a real element of risk to directly contacting a stranger on the internet.
