Can’t get enough of the #oxalistriangularis 💜💕 #gardening definitely teaches me patience. Of course I bought a plant! Repotted the purple triangularis oxalis (oxalis triangularis) which survived being in a paper carrier bag for the day. It reacts to light so thought it night so went to sleep. It was revived with water and sitting on my sunny balcony garden.

22/4/18 Refreshed the soil in the oxalis triangularis in the hope of reactiving the tubers. They still look okay but have been dormant for all winter.

Winter is coming ... #sorrynotsorry for the caption. The first picture is my three pots of #oxalis #oxalistriangularis in the summer, when they looked all healthy and happy. The next few pics show all the leaves dropping off and what I hope is #dormancy. I’m going to hold off watering for a few months and then resume in a few months to generate growth again (as per all the online articles I’ve been reading about oxalis care). The last picture is an extra tuber I found in the mini oxalis from the charity plant sale so I planted it in September.
