A potential body swap scenario w Gale and Tumbleweed would be so funny because they'd both go Full Wizard Nerd Mode and try to figure out how this had happened and what it entails, but quickly overun by "Oh shit I'm literally the hottest guy in the world what do I do😳😳😳😳"
Really so funny to me to think Tav and Gale's little romance adventure going straight over Astarion's head. Like, they've been kissing daily for weeks, holding hands and gazing fondly into each other's eyes at every opportunity, giggling together like lovestruck school girls, sleeping over in each other's tent nealry every night. And everyone else notices and Knows what's up. Except Astarion. Who's shocked and bewildered when Tav gingerly wants to talk about their relationship with the resident wizard. Everyone else are like "yeah, they're fucking😐👍didn't you know?"
Tumbleweed coming up to Gale one day to show him the newest book he's gotten his hands on and announce his new find and is excitedly telling every detail about it without any inhibition and his tail spinning around in nerdy glee and
"It seems..pretty... Um, pretty good.👍 Very nice. Lend me it when you're finished?" Tumbleweed is a little confused by his absent wording, but beams and nods with the brightest smile known to man. That's enough for Gale to then twhirl around with a thumbs up, for then to quickly to trot off his embarrassment from being way too caught up in Tumbly's eyes to hear a word he was saying and it's one of the few moments that just hit him like a punch because damn is he not used to this and damn his wizard companion sure is cute and damn does he want to kiss him so bad, it'll probably keep him awake at night
Meanwhile Tumbleweed is just standing there sorta wondering if he said something wrong, if he spoiled the book or if Gale just wasn't in the mood for a infodump, but feeling strange tingling butterflies rise in his belly thinking back to how blissfully gone Gale had seemed when only looking at him, not the book
Going insane thinking about Tumbleweed and Gale's relationship and how similar they are in a lot of ways and how very diffrent they are in the same ways and how they're both awfully self-sacrificial but gods forbid the other putting their life on the line needlessly they WILL pull each other back to a loving reality and they will let the other know how important and perfect and irreplaceable the other is. They're both kinda clingy yet private about their love life, they're horrendously sappy with each other, they enjoy each other's company like no other's, they understand each other on such a profound level that they don't even need to put it to words they are soul mates they are knowledge hungry idiots who's always willing to test their limits for their sense of a greater good, they're both so insanely autsim thank you for your time
