I totally relate! Feel the same when my fave Broadway actors connect with me in any way!

It's really great having twitter because there are a lot of actors who are just big old carebears and they love to send out lots of love and little wishes when they get a free chance between their work... IDK it's like this weird sort of connection you get to have with people who are otherwise rocking this really grueling schedule otherwise. And I really love it, I do. Twitter can make people seem a lot more human and sweet. "Oh well they're just an actor." "And they remembered my birthday, unlike you. :B" "You sure that's not their agent?" "Nah I know their account, too." XD Twitter is really excellent for getting in touch for the Broadway crowd, though. Omg they're such sweeties I follow a few and they're always doing cute and goofy things...and I have the London Cast Les Miz twitter account and they're crazy I love them. fffft it's been too long i miss NYC.

hugs right back. <333 I really hate that waiting game, I really do. WILL THERE BE PAIN WHEN IT'S SUNNY? WON'T THERE? Baaah. So I'm snuggled up with a little pillow fort so I don't move much and it's trying to stay calm and keep up the normal pace. There was one block that did not work at all. Nothing. I was still in pain and then the next day I was just more miserable. Uugh. It's like, a damn shame because I really enjoy the nurses and the team at the center where I get my block done. They're lovely people and they make the hours I spend there very easy to handle. ...And Denny's is like, riiiiiight there and it's much easier for me to manage breakfast while my throat's swollen and I'm still groggy from the drugs so I have that sad feeling my post Denny's procedure celebrations will come to an end. I'm a little worried about the "next idea" suggested and that's having an insert attached to my spine and having a sort of...it's really weird describing it. It's like a little electrical pack that'll be cut into the muscle of my butt. I'll get constant impulses to try to stop the pain. I'm actually nervous about that idea and am more in favor of medication before we try that. Cause I can imagine all of the sensors I will set off at the airport. I really can.

Whyyyyy???? That is an entirely unreasonable temperature. It's November. It should be warm and toasty inside to combat the icky almost-winter weather.

I used to have a lot of time and energy for blogging here about disability rights and politics and my own personal gripes; but I've been *really* depressed, and I'm no longer able to work from home, so this space has been neglected. Also, I'm struggling really a lot with my mental health/body image/recovery issues, so I've only really been vanity blogging at FatSexyBitch.

I've tried to keep an active queue of images of disabled tumblr users (self submitted or posted only) or e cards or memes or funny/badass/important posts, but sometimes my queue empties out at the same time as my energy reserves. Hell, this explanation will cost me inactivity at work until lunch (but my bosses are being ableist jerkfaces, so they can suck it) and I really doubt I'll get the queue filled up this week at all. 

But, any sort of story or gripe or complaint about being disabled or chronically or mentally ill that you'd like to submit, I'd like to publish (barring any -isms)

Dining Sevices

All retail campus dining locations will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Residential students who plan to stay on campus must register with their Residence Hall staff member and sign up for a Boxed Meal.

Residence Life

We highly encourage students to stay off-campus with family and friends. Students and staff who currently reside in our residence halls should contact their families to share information about where they plan to be during the impending storm and how they can be contacted. If there is a loss of electricity, please know that there will be no lights in your dorm room. Only heat and hot water will be available.
