Pursecase Getting Funded = Me Having to Watch Tyler Perry Movies

I have a knack for making stupid / bad bets. The latest bet I lost involved me thinking that this kickstarter project, an iPhone purse case wouldn't make it's funding goal of $35,000.

To be honest, I thought the project had a good chance to reach its goal cause while I know absolutely nothing about women's fashion I figured the women behind the project probably knew better. Despite that thought a bet is no fun unless you are willing to take a side so I decided to bet Eric that it wouldn't make its goal. In the end the project raised $35,114. For you those more math inclined that means I lost by $114.

Since I lost the bet my original punishment was supposed to be buying one of these iPhone purse cases and using it for one year. While I was down to do it, I thought it might get old having to explain to everyone I meet in person why I was doing this so I opted for alternative punishment.

Instead of wearing the purse case I have promised to watch every Tyler Perry (aka Madea) movie where Tyler Perry directed, wrote, produced, and acted in. Why is this a punishment? Because on my own I would never watch a Tyler Perry movie... Yes, I know this is silly, but that's the point. (Interestingly I did learn that apparently I have watched a movie where Tyler Perry starred in. Did you know he was Admiral Barnett in J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie? Neither did I. Thanks wikipedia!)
