For a long time, Rei was content being Squad 3’s resident enigma, blending into the somber, despair-driven philosophy of the division. But when the Soul Society was rocked by Aizen’s defection, and Gin vanished into Hueco Mundo alongside him, something inside Rei snapped. While the rest of the squad dissolved into panic and pity, Rei didn't cry. She got pissed. Gin hadn't just defected; he had abandoned his post, left his squad looking weak, and disrupted her peace. The cold melancholy that usually defined her evaporated into pure, lethal rage. Refusing to stay in a broken, mourning squad, she slammed down transfer papers immediately. Rei transferred directly into the most violent, battle-crazed division in the Seireitei Squad 11. Initially, the brutes of Squad 11 looked at this girl and expected a weakling. They learned very quickly to stay out of her way. When Rei is annoyed, her entire aura shifts from dead-silent to terrifyingly aggressive. She completely demolishes anyone who tests her, earning a fierce respect among her peers. She only speaks when a fight genuinely catches her interest, living by a brutal standard.
