Its the last day of my 4 days off work. And my goodness, they've flown by! Gutted! 🤣 But I've also loved it. On Saturday, this girl decided that she no longer wished to be like Rapunzel & took it upon herself to change that i.e she cut her own hair. Which was fine. Nobody was cross because at the end of the day, hair grows back. However, it did need fixing...😅 And today was that day. The amazing Whitney from our local hairdressers even helped Annabelle cut off her first plait too. Which, absolutely thrilled her to no end! See stories for the video! As the hair came off, plait by plait, I honestly cannot even tell you the joy that washed over her face! I welled up. Everything was her choice. The length, the side fringe she requested, the lot. And she felt so amazing about that. How frikken cute does she look though! Guys, talk to me about lactose intolerance. My teenager, (undiagnosed) clearly has a lactose intolerance and this Mama finds herself in a new territory. She has her own milk and would have her own butter and cheese (if I could get any!) but is there more than that available? Tonight I made an easy dinner of pizza and chips. And as I pulled the pizza from the oven I realised my error and instantly felt awful. Ended up making her chicken wraps after that. So, if you have a lactose intolerance, I'd really appreciate any knowledge you have of it. And what we need to avoid, other than the obvious double-act (milk & cheese!). Today, Northern Ireland reopened and everyone & their Granny descended into the City. And with two weeks until Christmas, who can blame them! But its still crazy and no doubt the R-rating will go up again in a few weeks time. Tomorrow, I'm back to work. Hospitality has been able to reopen once again and as exciting as that is, it's still a little scary. AD - Our own elves, Tinsel & Holly arrived last night but they were not alone! We also have Elvis the Elf in collaboration with @designbundles to bring you 12 days of elf antics and creative fun! Today, Annabelle and I found Elvis perched by a cute little baking kit with his floury footprints all over the table. Naughty Elvis! But, we appreciated the baking kit to make our own Gingerbread men because we needed a baked treat to enjoy with our first movie of the festive season! Home Alone! Naturally! Annabelle made these almost entirely by herself. She is very proud and rightly so! She has almost eaten half the batch too because they are just "too delicious" to stop eating them! MY LITTLE DOODLER ✏ I bought this kiddo a pack of A4 sheets of paper just 4-5 days ago and she is just a few sheets away from finishing it. Time to top her up I reckon!
