I WANNA BE SUP'TAR

Lilly Nichapalak and Belle Jiratchaya will play as the main couple in the remake of "I Wanna Be Sup'Tar" (2015), a famous Thai rom-com series that originally aired on GMM25, starring Push Puttichai and Gypso Ramita. This is the first lakorn ever to be remade into a Girls' Love series. It is due to air in 2026.

Original Synopsis: Wan Nueng dreams of stardom, but her parents want her to study abroad. Win Pakorn, a famous actor who retired after controversial clips with his former manager were leaked, returns to Thailand after five years and buys her house. Homeless, Wan Nueng starts lingering around Win's property. When a journalist follows Win home, she impresses him by handling the reporter. Over time, Win becomes friendlier and helps guide Wan Nueng's acting career, hoping she'll one day become a star.

Personal Opinion: 8/10

Synopsis: This drama revolves around the lives of celebrities. A famous actress in the Thai entertainment industry breaks up with a famous businessman and ends up getting raped by him. She sees herself getting pregnant but not knowing who is the actual father of that child. Her manager also gets into lots of troubles after her son, who got injured in a fire, finds out that the manager was actually his real mother. Lots of conflicts between the actors and actresses occur to become more famous than the other.

Personal Opinion: I think this story was interesting but it wasn't necessarily a unique plot line. I liked the actors that played in this drama and I liked the meaning that was portrayed in this drama. The OST was ok but I didn't pay much attention to it, so I'd say it wasn't great (turns out they didn't have main ones so it was no wonder) . The acting was good and I enjoyed the chemistry that was portrayed between the two conflicting managers.
