So, I’ve made a 2D angel wall piece, a larger 3D wall piece and have started a full stand alone sculpture. Although it’s bigger the process is actually easier. Each limb is as it should be as opposed to the 3D wall piece that only sticks out 30cm from the wall but gives the illusion it has full depth of perhaps 1m. With a few 12 hour shifts, I’m hoping to be finished in a week or two in time for an upcoming exhibition. Although I’m trying to finish quickly I find that there is beauty in this method producing a weathered piece that looks like it could have been in existence for 100 plus years already, rather than a perfectly polished version😃 Keep an eye on my stories for updates 👌#woodsculptures #sculptorsofinstagram #pushingtheenvelope https://www.instagram.com/p/B7vD94GnzPa/?igshid=1g59m5t5f5g8m
