For this #TransformationTuesday I'm also turning it into #TalkAboutItTuesday.. I'm getting a little personal so it may be a lengthier post but here goes... . I suffer from painful ovarian cysts.. Every month at the time of ovulation all women develop cysts.. Most women don't feel theirs. I'm one of the unlucky ones who does. Some months are better than others. . This month has been much like the first month I really felt them... It was so painful that myself, my doctors and the PA at the ER thought it was appendicitis until imagining confirmed otherwise. . There isn't much to do except take anti-inflammatories and use a hot pack so that's what my Sunday night into this morning consisted of. Which was frustrating because I have a lot of training to do! . Here's the transformation part.. The old me would wallow on the couch and use it as an excuse not to workout. But this morning I got up, used my hot pack then got into the basement and worked out... Thankfully there was no hiit component! . Now, I'm not saying push through high levels of pain - I wouldn't have been able to workout yesterday, I couldn't even shift positions on the couch without sharp pain.. But I assessed how I was feeling and made sure not to over do it..
