Slovenia and Croatia close to reaching an agreement
Slovenia should ratify Croatia’s accession to the EU on March 8, daily Jutarnji list reports.
The signing has been held up by squabbles over a banking scandal involving Ljubljanska Banka, which ministers say should be sorted out today (Wednesday) when the countries foreign ministers meet in Brussels.
Croatian foreign minister Vesna Pusic told Jutarnji List: “Our two countries are now very close to reaching an agreement."
