              the   precise  ,     careful  ,    artistic   dances   of   albion’s   nobility   are   far   different   from   the   celebrations   that   were   held   in   his   homeland .     when   the   drums   and   the   pipes   started   to   play   he   was   perhaps   one   of   the   most   sprightly   in   his   steps  ;     EVERY   SKIP   AND   JUMP   ON   TIME   AND   ENTHUSED .     but   these   dances   are   so   very   hard   to   get   used   to   ;    flat   footed   and   imperfect   is   he .     𝐒𝐎   𝐎𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐍   𝐇𝐄   𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐒   𝐈𝐓   𝐔𝐏   𝐓𝐎   𝐓𝐇𝐄   𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑'𝐒   𝐓𝐎   𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐋   𝐓𝐇𝐄   𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐑 .     the   other   knights   would   never   waste   their   opportunity   to   take   the   hands   of   their   pretty   interests   and   guide   them    around   the   floor .     mordred   much   preferred   to   watch   if   he   did   not   have   some   role   to   play  ,     if   he   was   not   trying   to   make   some   form   of   impression .                                         it’s   not   often   that   his   view   is   blocked  ,     at   least   not   for   longer   than   a   second .     this   time   his   view   is   blocked   for  long   enough   he   needs   look   upward .     before   him  ;     a   noble   he   does   not   recognise   but   that   is   likely   a   guest   of   someone   else   in   the   room .     𝑯𝑬   𝑹𝑨𝑰𝑺𝑬𝑺   𝑨   𝑩𝑹𝑶𝑾 .        never   before   has   an   offer   to   dance   been   extended   towards   him .     it   is   not   of   the   social   order   to   ask   a   prince   to   dance  ,      nobility   or   otherwise .     so   this   surprises   him .      he   isn’t   angered   -----------   he   doesn’t   care   for   such   social   order   -----------   he’s   merely   quite   shocked .      it’s   a   pleasant   surprise  ,      one   that   even   brings   a   faint   smile   to   his   face   as   he   breathes   a    note   of   hesitation .

       ruby’s  quiet  for  a  few  moments, and for a time she doesn’t know what to say. she’s used to keeping her expectations low, but she’s tired of it. she’s tired of all of it. this town is a cesspit of mediocrity and murder. her gaze keeps low to the earth because she doesn’t really know who’s bones she stepping on but she knows they’re there. where there’s smoke there’s fire and this land’s covered in a thick brim of it. only the fire is body parts and viscera. that oh so tired gaze lands on the figure, he looks as tired as she does. maybe more.          ❛  my  bar’s  so  low  not  even  the  maggots  could  pass  it,  it’s  just  sad.  ❜

          she wasn’t meant to go this far from the ship, she was meant to stay within a certain distance, but with training came a certain freedom and she lived for it. the green of the planet, the lakes, everything about it was... more freeing than anything she had ever felt. and that feeling allowed her to concentrate a little more, connect with the place, the forest, the earth... ----- except she wasn’t the only thing out there, she knew that now. there was something else... someone else? she couldn’t be sure. no matter how much she pushed, prodded... it was something she’d never encountered before. yet, CURIOSITY had spiked and she was soon coming to a stop near a clearing where she finally saw the figure.   “ .....who are you? what are you? “    ------------------ @putrifyre​

His aura is blinding. What the absolute fuck is this guy?

“Y-you’re, um--you’re in my bedroom? My apartment, to be exact--” She glances down at the book she’s been spending the last hour studying. She didn’t really think the incantations inside of it held much weight, but fuck her for experimentation, right?
