Well Melaka with have quite some shapes of Kue Putu that Malaccan themselves could recognize. So today is about Putu Bambu by @putubambuworld . Putu bambu is a traditional, long-shaped steamed cake made of Suji rice flour, and green extract from pandan leaf with Gula Melaka filling. So what to do with "BAMBU" (it is the Malay word for 🎍 "Bamboo")? Because it is steamed in bamboo tubes. it is usually served with grated coconut for a better taste. Because Gula Melaka sometimes could be extremely sweet 😱🤢😱🤢, so it is just right when you eat it with the Grated Coconut. It sooth the taste in order for you not to feel too greasy. This traditional bite-size snack is commonly found in Maritime Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesian. But in terms of its origin, well it is too common and therefore not trackable.
