Puzzle Nails
By: Tyler
So, I decided to do a puzzling design. I thought it would be funny if you flipped a random person off and they would look confused like “why are you flipping me off?” Then you could say “why do you look so puzzled” or something clever like that. But anyways, I love how this design looks so abstract and complex, but it is only four squares and fours dots. The puzzle pieces are really playful and cute, and the design is super easy, so I hope you try it out!
For this puzzling design you will need: base and top coat nail polish, black nail polish, white nail polish, tape, and a dotting tool. You obviously do not have to use black and white you can use any color you want. I personally just love the way my nails look with black and white.
Always start off a base coat to protect your nails. Then paint your nails two coats of white nail polish. I let my nails dry for about thirty minutes, so the tape didn’t make the nail polish stick to it. After my white nail polish was dry, I put tape from one edge to the middle of my nails. Then I placed another piece of tape diagonal of the previous piece, and make sure the tape touches in the middle, but not overlapping. After I had my tape set, I painted the black nail polish in the spaces that were not covered by the tape. When I was done with the black nail polish, I removed the tape slowly. I let the black nail polish dry before I added the dots. For the dots, I used a dotting tool, but a toothpick should be fine. Put the dots right on the edge of the square, and make sure to alternate. Finish your puzzling creation with a top coat, and now you are ready to show off your cute nails.
Sorry for not having a Must have Monday today, but I had to deal with some school stuff, but next monday you will not be disappointed.
